Creativity and the Arts

What is our path? What lives between us? How do we meet the other?

Working artistically leads to greater insights into ourselves and into our life path. This course explores painting as a process of individual renewal and as a tool for social change through group work. One session daily will be devoted to painting in relationship to the seasons and to Rudolf Steiner’s Soul Calendar. Practice with these sources is individually and socially restorative. In our other sessions, we will take up questions such as “What are agreements?”, “How do we listen?”, “How do we build substance together?” These topics, and others brought by the participants, will be explored artistically. We will use a variety of media including watercolor, pastel, collage and ink. No experience is necessary; all techniques are both exciting and forgiving. Materials fee: $60
