Dorm rooms are available at 2 pm each Sunday. Registration is each Sunday between 12-6 pm in the Rudolf Steiner Institute Office (look for signs.)

6:15-7:00 pm. in the Withey Building dining hall. Our welcoming assembly will begin at 8:15 pm in Ackley Auditorium. This program is for adults only. Childcare will be available so that parents are able to attend.

If you are flying from the west coast or Europe and need to arrive on Saturday, please make arrangements in advance. There is a charge of $35 for an extra night's lodging. There are options for dining with walking distance of the campus.

You must be checked out of your room no later than 11 am Saturday. Directions

The nearest airports are in Albany, New York or in Burlington, Vermont.

Amtrak service to New York and Vermont is provided by the Ethan Allen Express. Service runs from New York's Penn Station to Rutland, VT.

We will have limited shuttle transportation from Albany Airport and train stations. Call the Registrar to reserve space in advance.

Limited shuttle service will be provided from Albany Airport and Fair Haven Train Station to Green Mountain College on these dates:

Albany Airport -> Green Mountain College
Departs Albany Airport 11 a.m. & 5 p.m.

Green Mountain College -> Albany Airport
Departs Green Mountain College 8 a.m. & 2 p.m.

Train Station to GMC
Departs 7:20 p.m.

Final Saturday Departures
GMC -> Albany Airport: departs Green Mountain College 7 a.m., 9 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.

Green Mountain College -> Train Station
Departs Green Mountain College 10:30 a.m.

Shuttle seats are limited and must be reserved. A fee (see registration form) is charged for transport each way. Albany Airport is two hours from GMC. Fair Haven train station is 20 minutes from the college. Please make flight reservations accordingly and indicate your shuttle reservation with your application. Car rental is also available at Albany. Airport and cars can be dropped of in Rutland, VT.
